TEXT: Luke 2:13-14 (NIV)

“Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.'”

THE WORD:

On the night Jesus was born, there were some shepherds out in the field. An angel appeared to them to tell them about Christ’s birth. Then suddenly, a host of angels appeared who were praising God. Scripture tells us that there are angels in heaven singing God’s praises day and night.

Think about this: When you praise God, you are joining with the angels in heaven What an awesome thought that we can be one with the heavenly hosts when we worship through praises. As you begin your day today, take time to rejoice with the angels through praises. Turn your thoughts toward God because He is good and worthy of all our praises.

PRAYER:

Father, what an awesome privilege it is to come before Your throne of grace and worship You through praises. Thank You for sending Your son, Jesus, so that I can live forever and join the heavenly hosts in Jesus’ Name. Amen
